Apparently, the last biggest wine transaction occurred over the same wine makers wine, when two collectors let their egos get the best of them and continued to outbid themselves until they had bid$167,500 on 7 bottles of 1978 Romanee-Conti. More impressive than that, the billionaire plans to drink the wine.
